Avoid overbooking your trip. Build in slow mornings, mindful moments, and evenings where you do nothing at all, maybe a walk along the beach at sunset, or a campfire with smores and a nice book to read. Restoration happens in the quiet pockets of time.

3. Stay Grounded Through Rituals

Light stretching, meditation, journaling, walking, or deep breathing can keep you grounded no matter where you are in the world.

4. Nourish Yourself Intentionally

I love food, and even the smell of good food energizes me. Try local foods that energize rather than drain you. Stay hydrated, rest when needed, and choose activities that align with your energy level.

Travel can sometimes bring sensory overload. Step away from crowds, spend time in natural surroundings, and say “no” to anything that compromises your peace.
